I like this book because it is about a giant named colloso. Who lived at the edge of the earth in a castle made of white stone.And he kept a thousand slaves to do his work and another thousand slaves for dreadful entertainment.And it is a fiction book.And another reason i like this is because it is kind of a adventure book and i like types of books like that.

I liked this book because there is a story inside a story and it's funny how real people are the some of the characters are real people and they share some personalities. Eric 5

I'm really enjoying this book (The Giant-Salyer)it is sad in some parts but happy in other parts.

I just started reading this book. It seems really cool. I mean, a 6 year old girl that is drwing a picture the future from the 1950's. that seemed really cool! I Can't wait to find out what's next!

I enjoyed this book a lot, I especially liked the part when Collosso thought that he was going to die when he saw the baby giant slayer being born during the lightning storm,this part made me laugh so hard.
ReplyDeleteIf you like stories about giants or the history of polio with a twist then you should read this book.

This book was awsome!I liked how it was a story in a story and I thought that Laurie would die of the disease polio, but she did'nt and that was a very good thing.I also think that it was happy and sad when Carolyn and Dickie got sent home and to a hospital and left chip all alone with only Laurie and James left to be with him!!! MARCEL@$$$:D

I'm about halfway done the book and I am really enjoying it and I think that the author has alot of imagination and is very creative. Since this book is really good so far, I hope I can read someother book from Lain Lawrence. Great book!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIm done the book Giant slayer and i really loved the way Iain Lawrence put a story into another story. Also the author used very descriptive words which made the book more interesting.

i liked the book THE GIANT SLYER because the its a story inside a story and i learned that it doesn't matter how small or weak you can be but that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.
