Who would want to join a club called Dunces Anonymous? It was a Dumb name. It was a Dumb idea. Still, what else could he do? He needed help. Josh was in terrible trouble, and he couldn't think of a way out of it by himself.

    I really loved this book!! I think the authour did a really good job of describing what she wanted the reader to picture without spending a whole chapter talking about Josh's mom job for an example. I also loved how one problem kept on overlaping another because it made me not want to put down the book. One part that I think the book could inprove on though is to slow down the ending becasue it was a little to rushed but I still think it was a GREAT read!! CLARA :)

    This book was awesome!!!!!! the author did a great job explaining about the characters personality. Something amazing I found was you didn’t use words to challenging for me so it was easy to read. Also I could get a better understanding of the book. I have one question for you how did you come up with these characters? were they part of your life?

    I Dunces Anonymous is a great book thats realy funny.The plot(s) where funny and I liked how all the characters had there own problems and there own dreams. Marcel$$$

    Dunces anonymous was a awesome book and it was the first book I read.For me it was on the just right level. It was also very detailed but I think it got into the problem a bit to early.

    Wow, thanks so much for your positive comments! I can't believe that my book is nominated along with Zoobreak by Gordon Korman. He was my favourite author when I was a kid and his books Who Is Bugs Potter and This Can't be Happening at MacDonald Hall actually were part of the inspiration for Dunces Anonymous. One of the best parts about writing Dunces Anonymous was coming up with all the troublesome situations that the kids got themselves into, then figuring out how to get them out!     I enjoyed reading the book Dunces Anonymous because I thought the plot was really clever. It was clever because the fact that the kids didn't want to do what their parents wanted them to do. It really never occurred to me that something like this could happen to kids. That parents wanted them to be good at something that the kids didn't want to do. Sarah

    I have not read this book but it seems meaningful and very thoughtful.It also seems that it has a very good plot. I can not wait until I finish my book so that I can read this one.

    I really liked the book DUNCES ANONYMOUS. The three kids mandolia and josh and wage had problems and things thier parents wanted them to do.But at the end thier problems were solved.And there was a new member of DUNCES ANONYMOUS.Tis book was very enteresting and not boreing.Are you going to make another book.Alexandra

    Dunces Anoynomous was the first book I read in Silverbirch. It was quite an easy book to read but still had a good plot and I hope their is a series to the Dunces Anoynomous book.- Paige

    I had a great time reading Dunces Anonymous. I liked the plot like many people above said and how Josh made a club to escape their parents' ambitions. Also I liked how the club had different plans to help each other like in Zoobreak by Gordon Korman where Griffin Bing has plans to help his friend Savannah get back her monkey. The only thing I thought I would've changed was the ending. It looked like the book ended to quickly and I really wanted to know the last plan to help Wilmot. So the ending was good in a way because it made be imagine the ending myself but maybe it should have had the last plan and after maybe other people start joining his club. Something like that. But overall I loved reading this book! :)

    I really liked the book but some people say the ending was not very well writin but i think it was very well writin.how did you come up with this book? and did this happen to you when you were little?Alexandra:)

    So far on what I have read in the story of "DUNCES ANONYMOUS"!..
    It is very interesting,but it has been a great start.
    By the way the author did a fantastic job describing what is going on

    Hey Aretha!! I love this book because it was really intense because one problem kept on coming after another which made it a GREAT BOOK TO READ!! I also agree with you Anthony G, is the sequel out yet. I really want to read it. CLARA :D

    Hi Aretha! I love this book because it was so interesting that the problem came one by one and the same boy help sloved each problem one by one.

    Dunces Anonymous was hilarious. I just loved it especially the way Josh and his friends got each other out of their situations. Magnolia and Wang get Josh out of being class president, Wang and Josh get Magnolia out of playing Juliet in the school play and Josh and Magnolia get Wang out of the chess tournament and then Wilmot Binkle got Wang out of trouble with the Board of Directors on the chess tournament. This book is one of the best books I've read. Eric 5

    I think the book Dunces Anonymous was a very good book.I think that because Josh,Magnolia and Wang try to find another problem to get them out of their first problem.Just telling from the cover of the book,you could have a million predictoins on what would happen in the story.I hope you can make more books like this one. Dina

    Dunces Anonymous was an awesome book! Who would think The class president, Juilet, and a chess player would be friends? I didn't. This book was awesome! Short, but AWESOME!
