I really liked it because it told me lots of facts that I didn't know before like John McCrae wrote more poems other then "In Flanders Fields".Also it didn't bore me like other non-fiction books.

I don't like reading boring books--so I promise I will never WRITE a BORING book!

I really liked this book because not only was it interesting but also I found out some really cool facts about John McCrae like for example that he wrote the song "In Flanders Fields" and that people started to wear poppies a couple of days after he died. I found that the facts were the best.I really hope that people like it just as much as I did and to hear more from this author

This book was really interesting. I really liked it! The book had a lot of really cool facts about John McCrae. It told me a lot about the war, and about John McCrae in the world war. Did you know that he wrote the really famous poem " In Flanders Fields. "

I really like the author who wrote the book "Remembering John McCrae", because I was really touched by the death of a friend which inspired him to write the poem "In Flander's Field". I also like how the author was talking about the experiences of John McCrae in World War One.

ReplyDeleteTo answer your question. I wanted to write this book because we recite the poem "In Flanders Fields" but many of us don't know about who wrote it. And why he wrote it.
John McCrae had an interesting life and I wanted to share the facts with you. He's like us--he played sports, sang songs, studied in school. That's good to know.

I loved this book because it tells you everything you need to know about John McCrae. It tells you about his life, jobs, and family.I would call it a very inspiring book and i think anyone or maybe everyone could make a connection to it. I personally think everyone should read this book.

this book was very interasting and imortant to read bease then we can see how life was being in the war and to read about the life of John McCrae was sad but also exciting to me and i would lke to read another book from Linda Granfield.

I thought it had alot of interesting info about John McCrae. There is one question I want to ask the author (Linda Granfield). My question is that did John McCrae have like a mysterious period of his life like where no one knew what he was doing or where he was like for example: Jesus went out in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights and we only have a vague idea of what happened to him their!!
