  2. I liked this book a bit because of the humour but it did get a little boring going on and on about all these inventions. One funny part was one it said that Archimedes, wehn he got anidea he would run down the street naked yelling "EUREKA".

  3. I am in the middle of this book and so far it has been all right. It is an interesting book but it has a lot of info. I really enjoyed the pictures the were very detailed and went a long very well with the words that the author said. I can not wait to finish this book because I went to see all the newer inventions that were made.

  4. I liked this book and it was very informative but the annoying puns and intro started really getting on my nerves, and I found it was a little bit too childish for me, because the print for the invention was Huge and colourful and distracted me from the text. Also, I already knew half the story of almost all the inventions. Aurora

  5. This book was really funny but really informative at the same time. My favourite part was when it talked about how the Wright brothers acheived flight for 12 seconds on December 17,1903(I was born 97 years later). To relate I'm reading the Black Book of Buried Secrets(from the 39 clues) and it says that the Wright brothers were escaping from an enemies territory. I'm not so sure if that's true. Eric 5

  7. I agree with Emmy when she says how it was cool learning about the inventions and who made them. But some of the jokes were really BAD! No one wheely knows? GROAN! But I also liked how some times there were sections about a specal inventer. Also I was wondering how the author came up with the tital "What's The big Idea?" -SARAH:)(:

  9. The book, what's the big idea was kind of interesting. I really liked the pictures, Because they were very colorful. Secondly, I liked the interseting inventions that were made a long time ago. And lastly, I was interesed in some of the people who made these inventions, because they looked like genouises
